Rooms

Initially Hacienda Manteles near Baños, Ecuador offered 10 rooms that were all original to the main hacienda. These quarters were first developed into guest rooms in 1992 and were again remodeled and refurbished in 2001. In 2006, 6 more rooms were developed at the hacienda to accommodate the increasing demand. We now offer 16 wonderfully decorated and cosy rooms to make our guests feel at

home.

From each of the rooms one can enjoy lovely views, be it along the gardens, looking up into the mountains or directly across to the Tungurahua Volcano. Each room has a private en suite bathroom and hot water. Some of the rooms have wood burners, all are warmly decorated with a family touch, each enjoying an individual style.

This house was built in 1995 originally as a home for a Canadian lady who fell in love with Hacienda Manteles. She lived in this private home for some years, then in 1999 the house was remodeled to include 4 guest rooms and a central living room with fireplace. Each room has a private en suite bathroom and all rooms share the lounge area, perfect for those who want to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or maybe even a glass of wine while reading in front of the fireplace. The Family House is surrounded

by the gardens of the Hacienda and offers outside seating areas for those who love the outdoors.
